Weddings
 Wedding Ceremony
A brass quintet is a wonderful and elegant way to enhance your wedding.  Whether your wedding is in a grand cathedral, an intimate chapel, outside in a garden, or in a reception hall, Simply Brass will create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding ceremony and reception.

We have a large library of standard wedding music, as well as more obscure pieces for a creative touch.  We can even special order or arrange a favorite song for an additional fee.  All Simply Brass performances include our assistance with music selection.

 Choosing Your
 Ceremony Music

At minimum, there are three parts of the wedding ceremony where music is traditionally incorporated: A prelude as guests are being seated, the processional, and of course, the recessional. Optional music may include an interlude (i.e. candle lighting, etc.) and postlude as guests leave. The musical selections included in our Wedding Music Worksheet are categorized by the portion of the ceremony in which they are most often heard, but keep in mind that many songs cross categories very effectively.

You will need Adobe Acrobat or simlar.

To help you with your musical selection, a website offering streaming audio of all wedding selections, common and obscure, can be found here.   Remember that only a small portion of our music library is listed on these pages and in our worksheet, so don't be afraid to inquire about any you hear.

               RECORDINGS OF WEDDING SONGS

As you plan your wedding ceremony, please talk with your officiant or clergy about any requirements or special considerations that might be necessary.  Also, consider which parts of the traditional service you will be using (if any), and discuss appropriate music choices.
